I’ve been there and if I can change my posture and vocal habits, you can too! I've included everything you need to know in this 8-week program:
A reliable process to help you convey authority, calm, and composure even when you’re feeling uncertain.
Structured strategies that prepare you for high-stakes interactions and teach you to self-coach during them (for both online and in person situations.
A full evaluation of how you set up and sit or stand at your workspace. (You probably spend a lot of time there and your work posture impacts everything you do!)
Body awareness training to help you become more conscious of how you communicate with your body and voice without becoming “self-conscious”
Personalized coaching -- small group and 1:1
A safe, supportive learning environment where you won't be put on the spot or judged.
I know what it’s like…
Speaking with authority and composure isn’t something that has always come naturally to me.
I used to feel really awkward when I wasn't in my comfort zone. My shoulders would go up to my ears, my voice got really high-pitched and I would get fidgety and out of breath.
I worried that I wouldn’t be able to achieve my goals because of how I came across until discovered this was something I could change.
I’d love to teach you what has been so valuable to me.
A lifetime of poor posture made me skeptical about being able to improve, so I was surprised to discover how much I learned at each session and happy that the training has had such a positive effect on how I sit, stand, walk, and feel.
The course was well paced and seamlessly organized, the vibe was friendly and relaxed, and the resources were extremely helpful. I feel certain the benefits will last and I'm so glad I took the course.

I met with Lindsay because I was looking to make a more transformative change. I was already doing a lot of yoga and pilates, I even did a couple of desk ergonomic sessions at work, but the reality was, I was still slouching at my desk, looking at my phone for hours and suffering from neck and back pain. It felt like I could not do two things at once, I could either think of my posture, or think of work, and all in all I didn't really know what a "good posture" was. I definitely didn't know what it should feel like.
I did a group workshop, a couple of individual sessions and I felt an incredible difference. I think I won 20% of my energy back, just because I started "doing less" to have a "good posture". I immediately felt lighter and better.

Improving my posture has been my New Year’s resolution forever. Decades. Like some people perpetually want to lose weight or get in shape, I always pledge to stand up straighter. To stop hunching. So while better posture is one of my deepest desires, my NOT having achieved it before also makes it something I’m scared to try. What if I take a class and it doesn’t work for me? Will I be confirming that it’s a hopeless goal?
Through Lindsay's classes, I’ve had breakthroughs! It is possible to improve. I’m learning that this is a process. It takes time. There’s not a quick fix – at least not for me – but there is a slow and steady fix, one that comes from both attention to my body and engaging my brain.
The approach that this is an intellectual exercise as much as a physical exercise really works. I’ve never been overly sporty or athletic, but I have always been really good at school. So working on my posture and movement in a somewhat more intellectual way, as well as physical, feels much better and more doable.
- Carol M.
I hadn’t known this would be an effect of what I was thinking of as a “physical” therapy, but my class also helped me figure out various ways my posture and modes of carrying myself were impacting my professional and personal life. I sit and stand much more confidently now, speak more calmly and authoritatively in public settings, and generally feel healthier and more attractive (I can see myself looking different in photos).
It’s amazing what just a few sessions could do but Lindsay has really honed a technique that, while being totally concrete and matter-of-fact, teaches deep physical and emotional lessons. I have sent multiple friends to her for help with everything from foot pain to social anxiety, and I can’t recommend her more.

This course is for you if you:
Feel that you are not living up to your potential because of how you come across when you’re interacting with others.
Are female or identify as female. (I also work with men, but this course focuses on challenges that tend to be specific to women or those who experience the world from a female perspective.)
Ready to identify and change habits that are getting in the way of communicating with confidence.
Would benefit from learning in a small, intimate, supportive group of women+.
This course isn’t for you if you:
Are seeking help in figuring out what words to use when you communicate. This course is about non-verbal communication (body language and voice)
Are not willing to participate in live Zoom classes with your camera and mic on.
If you're frustrated with physical and vocal habits that mask your competance, then this program is for you.
You'll learn clear, logical steps and strategies to help you change ingrained postural and vocal habits by engaging your brain.
This program presents a clear system that is then adapted to meet each particpant's personal needs. Live group classes are based on your schedule, online content is reviewed on your own time, plus Lindsay will work with you to develop a fully personalized plan so that you can continue to practice and improve.
What's unique about this course?
Self-study only programs may be convenient, but can feel like a generalized information dump delivered in a vaccum. You're left on your own to figure out how it all applies to you. Without in-person and community engagement, partipants can also feel unmotivated and like their personal needs aren't being addressed.
Fully live courses offer lots of individual support, but can seem impossible to fit into a busy schedule and can be cost-prohibitive.
This course offers the best of both worlds...live coaching with time flexibility, plus self-study materials that are given relevance through the live work.
Best of all, you leave the course with a personalized plan that specifically applies to you. You don't have to do all of the work to decipher how to put the information into action when you need it most.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: My schedule is packed. I’m worried I won’t be able to find the time for the course. How is it organized?
A: A minimum of one hour of live participation is required each week. Other materials are accessible at any time. One-on-one sessions can be scheduled at your convenience.
Included in the course are strategies for creating time in your schedule (even very small amounts) to set aside for self-care and much of what you practice can be done while you’re doing other things. You’ll finish the course with a personalized plan for maintaining what you learn and continuing to develop your skills.
Q: I’m worried that I might feel intimidated or judged.
A: The class atmosphere is friendly, fun and supportive. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly and judgmental attitudes are not tolerated.
Q: I’ve never had any movement or voice training and I think my body awareness is terrible. I’m afraid I’m a slow learner and that I’ll be behind everyone else.
A: Don’t worry, you are not expected to show up slick and polished. The activities and exercises that I teach are designed specifically to improve body awareness. If body awareness is something you struggle with, then this is exactly the type of course that you need.
All you need to take this course is a desire to change and an open mind.
I have been teaching these types of classes for many years and even when people are nervous coming in, the experience has always been positive and low-pressure.
Q: I’m worried that the way I come across is just the way I am and that I won’t be able to change it.
A: That was the assumption I had before I learned that I could have quite a lot of agency over how I felt and what I projected when interacting with others. When people work with me, they realize that can change habits that they thought were unchangeable, regardless of age or experience.
If I did it, so can you!
Q: Can I really learn this online?
A: YES, you can! In fact, people who take my online classes in particular, develop confidence that they can "do it themselves”.
Q: How will I know if the required live classes fit into my schedule?
A: There will be several day/time options. Prior to the start of the course, each participant will share their availability with me and I will put you in a timeslot that works for you. You will have your class the same day/time each week.
A: I'm interested in signing up and telling some friends and colleagues about the course. The thing is, it might feel ackward to participate in a live class with someone I know well or work with.
Q: You will have all of your weekly live classes with the same small group (the larger group will be divided into several smaller ones). All participants will be sent a questionnaire prior to the beginning of the course and can indicate anonymously if they would prefer to be in a different live class from any other participants.
Also, if anyone has a concern regarding their comfort in their group during the run of the course, they may reach out to me privately.
Q: Will there be support following the course or am I all on my own?
A: Yes! You'll see listed in the bonuses below that you'll receive three free months of access to The Power Pause. You'll get one free month of weekly, 60-minute level 2 practice classes and access to the membership community. This can be used any time during the year following the course.
